Small Changes, Big Impact

Hi friend
Writing every day is hard.
And when you complicate it, it becomes even harder.
I learned a big lesson yesterday.
I had a few things to share, but I overthought that and made the long post I sent yesterday.
It was both difficult for me to write and publish and I’m sure it was more challenging for you to read.
As Leonardo da Vinci said
“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”
So, today, I’ll share just 1 idea from one of my favorite books, Tiny Habits by Stanford Professor B.J. Fogg.
Behavioral expert BJ Fogg suggests that to ensure positive changes become a regular part of your life, you should start with minor, manageable actions.
For example, if your goal is to improve fitness, begin with just two pushups daily. If you're aiming to be more mindful, practice taking a deep yoga breath each time you shut your car door.
These small-scale habits are easy to blend into your current lifestyle due to their simplicity. As time goes by, these habits gradually alter your brain's wiring, making these good habits as instinctive as making your morning coffee.
I want to write every day, so this is today’s post.
If you want to learn more about this book, you can check the summary on Blinklist, listen to the entire book Audible, or get this free 5-day e-mail course B.J. Fogg.
Thanks for reading; see you tomorrow!
